1. Measure your pet and the flap’s usable opening shown in the supplied product information—not just the outside frame.
2. Confirm the screen material and frame location can support the installation, then mark and cut only after checking both sides.
3. Secure all screws, remove sharp screen strands and train your pet gradually with the flap held open at first.

Important: Cutting a screen is permanent and may affect its strength, insect resistance, landlord approval or warranty. The stated 8 × 10 in measurement may refer to the outer product size; the usable opening is smaller and is not verified in the supplier record. This flap is not a security door, child barrier, weather seal or reliable way to prevent an animal escaping outdoors.

Care: Wipe the frame and flap, clear debris from the hinge and magnet, and retighten hardware as needed. Stop use if the flap sticks, cracks or develops sharp edges.

What’s included: Black magnetic pet screen flap and installation hardware as supplied.

Will it fit my pet?

Measure the pet’s widest and tallest points and compare them with the verified usable opening in the supplied diagrams. The exterior product size alone is not enough.

Can it be installed in a solid timber or glass door?

The verified listing describes screen installation. Do not cut solid doors or glass without a suitable product specification and qualified installer.

Does the magnet lock the flap?

No. The magnet helps return the flap toward closed; use the separate lock when access needs to be restricted.
