Security and Care Limits

No portable padlock is undefeatable. Match the lock to the value and risk of the property being secured; it should not be treated as a substitute for a high-security lock or insurance-required security device.

Although IP56 resistance is listed, do not immerse the lock or expose the charging port to water. Dry the lock before charging, use a compatible power source and stop use if the battery becomes damaged, swollen, wet or unusually hot.

Charge before the battery is depleted and maintain an alternative access plan. Fingerprint recognition may be affected by wet, dirty, injured or very dry skin.
