Controlled doorway access for pet-friendly homes
Give Your Cat Access Without Leaving the Door Wide Open
Need your cat to reach a litter tray, food area or quiet room while keeping a larger pet on the other side? This adjustable latch strap holds the door at a chosen gap—without drilling permanent hardware into the door.
A Simpler Alternative to Installing a Pet Door
Adjust the flexible strap to create an opening your smaller pet can pass through, then attach it according to the supplied instructions. It is useful in rentals and rooms where cutting a door or fitting a permanent gate is impractical.
✓ Customise the opening: adjust the strap to suit the pet and doorway.
✓ Preserve privacy and airflow: keep the door partially open rather than fully ajar.
✓ Tool-free installation: avoids drilling when fitted to a clean, compatible surface.
✓ Useful for multi-pet households: help separate a cat’s litter, food or resting area from a larger pet.
Designed for Quick Everyday Access
Adjustable elastic strap: changes the permitted door gap to suit your setup.
Compact profile: works without placing a bulky freestanding gate across the doorway.
Multiple colour options: choose pink, white or black.
Removable setup: can be taken down when no longer required, although adhesive performance depends on the mounting surface and conditions.
How to Install
- Clean and fully dry the mounting areas on the door and frame.
- Position the attachments where the strap will hold the desired door gap without twisting.
- Press adhesive-backed parts firmly in place and allow the adhesive to bond for the period stated in the supplied instructions.
- Adjust the strap, close the door gently and test the gap before allowing pet access.
- Check the attachment, strap tension and door movement regularly.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it stop every dog?
No. Effectiveness depends on the animal’s size, strength and behaviour, the adjusted gap and the mounting surface. It is not a substitute for a rigid pet gate when secure containment is required.
Can I use it as a child-safety lock?
No. This is a pet-access product, not a certified child-safety device, stair gate, pool barrier or security lock.
Will the adhesive damage paint?
Adhesive behaviour varies by paint, finish, age and removal method. Test a hidden area first and follow the removal instructions carefully.
