How To Use The Knife sharpening stone Follow the steps below:

1. Soak the grit in water for about 5-10 minutes before use.

2. Place the stone on the non-slip bamboo base with the silicone base, and make sure both of these are on a flat surface.

3. With your knife at a 20-degree angle, slowly draw the knife down and across the stone in a smooth motion, starting at the heel and finishing at the tip. Repeat this action 5 times.

4. Flip the knife the other side and sharpen the reverse side using the same motion. You should sharpen this side the same number of times as the other side for consistency.

5. Turn your sharpening stone over to the fine side and repeat steps 3-4.

6. Once you are done sharpening, use the leather strop to polish blade and remove burrs from the edge of the blade. Clean the blade with wet cloth or water, and make it dry to keep in sharp condition.
